What to expect from your Maternity session with Marina G Photography?

Let’s face it—it’s easy to overlook maternity photos. When you’re pregnant, you’ve got a lot to deal with. It only gets more hectic as your baby’s due date approaches.

You’re in and out of appointments with your doctor or midwife. You’re practicing breathing techniques, setting up a relaxing Spotify list for the birth, and going over your birth plan in your head every day. Not only that, it’s difficult to sleep with the baby bump, and you’re having pain in places you didn’t know existed before got pregnant. It’s a roller coaster, to say the least.

Then someone suggests getting maternity pictures taken—meaning you must research and consult with photographers in your area, do some shopping to find the right dress/jeans/top/bodysuit, do your best make up early in the morning, then show up and try to feel beautiful for the camera, despite being exhausted inside and out. I get it!

That’s why at our studio we offer you a full service so you wouldn’t spend your time and energy on worrying about your wardrobe or styling for your photoshoot. We have it all covered! From the first letter or phone call to us till the moment when you are coming to pick up your printed images we will take care of you.

Beautiful selection of silk draping, as well as stunning maternity dresses, lace gowns, tops, bodysuits, skirts are provided for your session. Once your session is reserved, we will suggest how to prepare for your session.

During your session I will guide you through variety of poses, outfit changes and lighting setups. My goal is to make sure you feel comfortable, relaxed, beautiful and empowered. To create beautiful photos for you and your family without any stress.

Maternity photos showcase the wonderful bond with your child, while also capturing the strength and grace of a soon-to-be mother. You worry about your new baby so much that it’s easy to forget how important YOU ARE right now. But you are, and that’s worth capturing, too.

With every year Maternity photography is becoming more popular and that makes me really happy. I believe mothers should be celebrated and cherished, and photographs are a great way to do this!
